The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Vigarano as it allowed them to take a leadership position in North. Vigarano smashed bottom-ranked Biassono at home 82-43. The game without a history. Vigarano led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Biassono to just 7 points in second and fourth quarters. Vigarano held Biassono to an opponent 22.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 45.2 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Biassono 54-30 including a 42-23 advantage in defensive rebounds.
