Very important is a home loss of first ranked Akita Happinets (10-3) against fourth ranked Hamamatsu Phoenix (8-5) on Saturday night. Host Akita Happinets were defeated by Hamamatsu Phoenix in a tough game in Akita 92-99. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Akita Happinets. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. The guests were already 13 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 29-23 Akita Happinets' run in the last quarter cut the lead to 99-92 at the end of the game.
