Regular Season Round 10: Staco MNLK - Wisla AWF Kr. 66-71

Everything went according to plan in Niepolomice where ninth ranked Wisla AWF Kr. (5-4) beat 11th ranked Staco MNLK (3-6) 71-66 on Saturday. Staco MNLK was trailing by 5 points at halftime but managed to get 6-point lead after three quarters before a 26-15 charge of Wisla AWF Kr., which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 31 Staco MNLK turnovers. Guard Daniel Szlapka (188-92) scored 23 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Dariusz Depta (198-86) chipped in 11 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side guard Szymon Kunc (193-80) responded with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international swingman Wojciech Majchrzak (194-74) scored 14 points and 8 rebounds. Five Wisla AWF Kr. and four Staco MNLK players scored in double figures. Staco MNLK's coach Jaroslaw Mosio tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Wisla AWF Kr. moved-up to sixth place in Group C. Staco MNLK lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with six games lost. Wisla AWF Kr. will face Pulaski Warka (#13) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Staco MNLK will play against Novum Lublin and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
