No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Valencia Basket (6-3) beat at home 8th ranked Assignia Manresa (4-5) 75-67 on Saturday. Assignia Manresa was trailing by 7 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 18-6 charge of Valencia Basket, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Assignia Manresa to just 6 points in fourth quarter. It was a good game for naturalized Brazilian power forward Tiago Splitter (211-85, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory with 15 points and 9 rebounds. American forward Nik Caner-Medley (203-83, college: Maryland, agency: Priority Sports) contributed with 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Guard Javier Rodriguez (189-79, college: Boston Coll.) answered with 6 points and 10 assists and Hungarian guard Adam Hanga (201-89, agency: TSS Management) added 9 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Assignia Manresa.
