The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Golden Hawks as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Golden Hawks smashed bottom-ranked Lions in Waterloo, ON 102-62. The game without a history. Golden Hawks led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Golden Hawks forced 21 Lions turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 57.7 percentage. Golden Hawks looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Golden Hawks made 8 blocks. The best player for the winners was international forward Kale Harrison (196) who scored 21 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Maxwell Allin (193) chipped in 14 points and 9 assists.
