No shocking result in a game in Saint-Amand where eighth ranked Union Hainaut (5-5) defeated 10th ranked Charleville-Mezieres (3-7) 65-58 on Saturday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Charleville-Mezieres won third quarter 20-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Union Hainaut won last quarter 18-13. They made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Union Hainaut forced 20 Charleville-Mezieres turnovers. Croatian center Petra Stampalija (189-80, agency: Josep and Nicolas) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds for the winners.
