The game in Seu D'urgell was also quite interesting. 7th ranked Arranz-Jopisa Burgos (3-4) played at the court of eighth ranked Cadi la Seu (4-3). Cadi la Seu managed to secure a 6-point victory 86-80 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 11 points after first quarter, but they rallied back getting tie in the second period and winning the second half and won the game by 6 points. Cadi la Seu made 25-of-29 free shots (86.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 22 Arranz-Jopisa Burgos turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Adrianne Ross (173-84, college: TCU, agency: Merit Sports) who led the winners and scored 24 points and 6 rebounds. Latvian guard Kristine Karklina (175-83) accounted for 26 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winning side. American center Kaayla Chones (191-81, college: N.Carolina St.) came up with 25 points and 7 rebounds and Chilean center Ziomara Morrison (193-89) added 19 points and 10 rebounds (made all of her eight free throws) respectively for Arranz-Jopisa Burgos in the defeat. Four Arranz-Jopisa Burgos players scored in double figures. Cadi la Seu moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Gran Canaria and Girona. Newly promoted Arranz-Jopisa Burgos dropped to the eighth position with four games lost. They share it with Mann Filter. Cadi la Seu will meet Hondarribia-Irun (#11) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Arranz-Jopisa Burgos will play against Joventud Mariana in Soller and hope to secure a win.
