Another exciting game was played in Aviles between second ranked Maquinaria Ensino and one of their biggest challengers ADBA where Maquinaria Ensino (5-1) beat ADBA (4-2) on the road 65-56. ADBA was ahead by 1 point after three quarters before a 16-6 charge of Maquinaria Ensino, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated on the defensive end, holding ADBA to just 6 points in fourth quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Mireia Navarrete (184-80) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Yadira Francise Ferrer (186-85) contributed with 8 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Aitana Cuevas (187-86) replied with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Berta Chumillas (170-90) added 9 points in the effort for ADBA. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Maquinaria Ensino maintains second position in Group A with 5-1 record having seven points less than leader Pais Vasco. ADBA at the other side keeps the third place with two games lost.
