There was a change at the A1 leadership position after last games. Round 6 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Kolossos (4-1). They were defeated by third ranked Olympiakos (5-1) 93-82 on Saturday night. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Kolossos. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game was mostly controlled by Olympiakos. Kolossos managed to win fourth quarter 29-27. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Olympiakos forced 20 Kolossos turnovers. 24 personal fouls committed by Kolossos helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Olympiakos keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Panionios. Kolossos at the other side dropped to the third place with one game lost. They share the position with Panathinaikos. They were replaced at the leadership position by Olympiakos. Kolossos will play next round against Kavala trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Olympiakos will try to continue on its current victory against tenth ranked Aris in Thessaloniki.
