The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Perth Wildcats as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Perth Wildcats defeated 6th ranked Kings at home 103-92. The game was mostly controlled by Perth Wildcats. Kings managed to win third quarter 25-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 27-of-34 free shots (79.4 percent) during the game. Perth Wildcats looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists.
