Hamamatsu Phoenix (9-5) survived in overtime against Akita Happinets (10-4) by eleven points 88-77 on Sunday night. The game took place in Akita. But the guests from Mikawa were better at the end. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. The guests trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime then Akita Happinets managed to tie the game at the end of regular time.
