Regular Season Round 16: Shiga L-Stars - Takamatsu FA 95-69

Very expected game when bottom-ranked Takamatsu FA (0-14) was rolled over on the road by third ranked Shiga L-Stars (9-5) 95-69 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 95-69. It was a great shooting night for Shiga L-Stars especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 61.5 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Forward Ray Nixon (203-84, college: Wisconsin) fired 19 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Loser Takamatsu FA still closes the standings with 14 games lost. Shiga L-Stars will face Saitama Broncos (#8) at home in the next round where they are favorite.
