There was no surprise in Dublin where 9th ranked Singleton (1-7) was defeated by seventh ranked Peugeot Meteors (3-5) 71-67 on Sunday. Peugeot Meteors forced 20 Singleton turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Jade Daly (-91) who helped to win the game recording 10 points and 6 rebounds and forward Rebecca Nagle (173-92) who added 13 points during the contest. Peugeot Meteors' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Amy Waters responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and Danielle O'Leary scored 13 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Singleton players scored in double figures. Peugeot Meteors moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Waterford W. Singleton lost seventh consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the bottom position with seven games lost. They share it with Oblate Dynamos and Liffey Celtics. Peugeot Meteors' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Dublin to the arena Liffey Celtics.
