There was a minor upset when 4th placed Chieti (4-7) lost on the road to sixth ranked Fabriano (2-9) 76-69 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 76-69. Fabriano forced 23 Chieti turnovers. Naturalized Argentinian point guard Nicolas Manuel Stanic (177-84, agency: Players Group) orchestrated the victory by scoring 13 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. The former international forward Mario Gigena (198-77) contributed with 13 points for the winners. The former international center Emanuele Rossi (208-82) answered with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and forward Roberto Feliciangeli (203-74) added 17 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Chieti. Four Chieti players scored in double figures. Fabriano moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Ruvo.
