Rather expected game when 7th ranked Mitsubishi Dolphins (6-12) lost to fifth ranked Panasonic Trians (8-10) in Osaka 86-93. The hosts were already 11 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 32-28 Mitsubishi Dolphins' run in the last quarter cut the lead to 93-86 at the end of the game. 33 personal fouls committed by Mitsubishi Dolphins helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
