Date: December 2, 2011
Bottom-ranked Eco Orebro (0-15) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 97-79 loss to ninth ranked KFUM Jamtland (6-8) in Orebro on Friday evening. They made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for KFUM Jamtland especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 56.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Croatian forward Drazen Klaric (205-80, agency: Court Side) had a double-double by scoring 27 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Brandon McKnight (188-83, college: Purdue, agency: Promotex) chipped in 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Five KFUM Jamtland players scored in double figures. KFUM Jamtland's coach Dennis Aulander used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international guard Andrew Pleick (196-80, college: Lafayette) responded with 8 points and 12 assists and forward Pierre Hampton (198-91) scored 20 points. KFUM Jamtland maintains ninth position with 6-8 record. Loser Eco Orebro still closes the standings with 15 games lost.
