Very important is a road loss of third ranked Ksiezak Lowicz (6-4) against tenth ranked Trefl II Sopot (4-5) on Saturday night. Visiting Ksiezak Lowicz was edged by Trefl II Sopot in a tough game in Sopot 66-69. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Ksiezak Lowicz. Ksiezak Lowicz trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 19-10 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 66-69 at the end of the game. Trefl II Sopot forced 22 Ksiezak Lowicz turnovers. It was a great evening for forward Wojciech Fras (203-91) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists. Swingman Kacper Stalicki (195-92) helped adding 14 points and 5 rebounds. Trefl II Sopot's coach Marcin Lichtanski used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Guard Damian Janiak (191-89) responded with 22 points and 7 rebounds and guard Bartosz Wluczynski (176-88) scored 15 points and 5 assists. Four Ksiezak Lowicz players scored in double figures. Trefl II Sopot moved-up to seventh place in Group A, which they share with Korsarz Gdansk. Loser Ksiezak Lowicz dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with Zuraw Gniewno. Trefl II Sopot will meet SMS PZKosz (#13) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Ksiezak Lowicz will play against Zyrardowianka (#10) and hope to secure a win.
