No shocking result in a game when leader Esperides (9-0) beat 9th ranked Aris (3-6) in Thessaloniki 63-53. Aris was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. American center Latoya Williams (193-87, college: Chipola JC) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 15 rebounds for the winners and her fellow American import guard Haily Dunham (188-87, college: USC, agency: Merit Sports) chipped in 11 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. The best for the losing side was center Fedra Skiadopoulou (191-90) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and the former international guard Nafsika Stavridou (182-86) scored 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Esperides have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Athinaikos. Aris at the other side dropped to the eighth place with six games lost. They share the position with PAOK and Kronos AD. Esperides will play against DAS Ano Liosa (#5) on the road in the next round.
