Regular Season Round 9: Crocodiles - Hawks 82-81

The game between closely ranked teams ended with seventh ranked Townsville Crocodiles' (4-4) home victory over bottom-ranked Wollongong Hawks (3-7) 82-81 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 28-22 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Townsville Crocodiles made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was the former international swingman Peter Crawford (193-79) who scored 22 points and 7 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line).
