We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when sixth ranked Niigata Albirex (7-6) outplayed 5th ranked Shinshu BW (7-8) in Nagano 86-66 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Niigata Albirex. Shinshu BW was better in second period 11-5. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Niigata Albirex made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. American guard Nile Murry (193-83, college: TCU) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Niigata Albirex have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place. Loser Shinshu BW dropped to the sixth position with eight games lost. Niigata Albirex will have a break next round. Shinshu BW will play again at home against Niigata Albirex (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
