Another interesting game was again a derby between two local teams from Tbilisi: TSU (#9) and STU (#6). TSU (3-4) won against visiting STU (3-4) 67-57. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 24-11 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Center Tornike Niniashvili (205-82) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 17 rebounds. Forward Shalva Kokhreidze (188-86) contributed with 1 points, 12 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. TSU's coach Nugzar Cheishvili used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest.
