No shocking result in a game in Athens where fourth ranked AEK (7-3) smashed 7th ranked Ermis Lagkada (5-5) 84-61 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by AEK. Ermis Lagkada was better in second period 23-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. AEK dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Ermis Lagkada's 28. AEK forced 20 Ermis Lagkada turnovers and outrebounded them 39-24 including 30 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Ermis Lagkada's players.
