Round 10 in A2 means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Eleusina where host Panelefsiniakos (8-2) edged league's leader Apollon Patras (7-3) 70-68 on Saturday evening. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The hosts trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they rallied back winning two of next three quarters and won the game by 2 points. Strangely Apollon Patras outrebounded Panelefsiniakos 40-24 including 29 on the defensive glass. 26 personal fouls committed by Apollon Patras helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Forward Christos Deligiannis (204-84, agency: FCM) fired 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Guard Thomas Nikou (185-79) chipped in 12 points and 5 assists.
