Everything went according to plan when eleventh ranked Napoli BK Women (4-6) won against at home 13th ranked Viterbo (2-8) 65-47 on Saturday. The game without a history. Napoli BK Women led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Napoli BK Women outrebounded Viterbo 43-25 including a 32-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Bulgarian power forward Milena Tomova (189-82, college: FIU) fired a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Forward Sara Baggioli (180-89) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. Four Napoli BK Women players scored in double figures. Bulgarian forward Roksana Yordanova (184-84) produced 12 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Alessandra Boi (188-81) added 12 points respectively for lost side. Viterbo's coach Carlo Scaramuccia tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. Napoli BK Women moved-up to eighth place in South, which they share with Battipaglia. Loser Viterbo keeps the thirteenth position with eight games lost. Napoli BK Women will face higher ranked Orvieto (#5) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Viterbo will play against the league's leader Ragusa (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.
