The most shocking disappointment of round 10 in the Damligan was a road defeat of 4th ranked Solna Vikings (6-3) to seventh ranked 08 Stockholm (5-5) 69-61. It ended the two-game winning streak of Solna Vikings. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Solna Vikings won third quarter 17-12. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when 08 Stockholm won last quarter 23-16. They also forced 24 Solna Vikings turnovers. International forward Nina Risto (186-85) had a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Canadian center Leanne Evans (191-86) chipped in 11 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Five 08 Stockholm players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Jania Sims (170-88, college: Pittsburgh) responded with 22 points and 7 rebounds and her fellow American import swingman Pamela Rosanio (178-86, college: Massachusetts) scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Solna Vikings' coach Jurgita Kausaite rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. 08 Stockholm moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Norrkoping. Solna Vikings at the other side keep the fourth position with three games lost. 08 Stockholm is looking forward to face Kvarnby (#11) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Solna Vikings will play against Norrkoping Dolphins (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
