Regular Season Round 12: Toulouse - Dunkerque 67-71

The most important game in the last round took place in Toulouse between second ranked Toulouse (8-4) and seventh ranked Dunkerque (7-5) on Saturday night. Toulouse was defeated by Dunkerque in a tough game at home 67-71. The guests trailed by 8 points after three quarters before their 24-12 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Dunkerque made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was Latvian power forward Dace Brumermane (187-81, agency: Josep and Nicolas) who scored 26 points and 7 rebounds (went 14 for 14 at the free throw line !!!). Ukrainian center Taisiia Bovykina (190-89, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Carrem Gay (188-87, college: Duke) who recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and forward Maud Medenou (188-90) added 11 points respectively. Toulouse's coach Matthieu Chauvet rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Dunkerque moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Voiron and Roche. Toulouse at the other side keeps the second position with four games lost. They share it with COB Calais. Dunkerque is looking forward to face higher ranked SIG (#4) in llkirch-Graff. in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Toulouse will play against LTB 29 and is hoping to win this game.
