The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Napoli (9-3) on the court of fourth ranked Chieti on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Chieti 76-70. Napoli was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Chieti forced 22 Napoli turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Emanuele Rossi (208-82) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds and forward Roberto Feliciangeli (203-74) who added 18 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Newly promoted Chieti maintains fourth position with 5-7 record, which they share with Anagni. Napoli at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still keeps top place with three games lost.
