The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Montepaschi Siena as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Montepaschi Siena defeated 4th placed Bennet Cantu at home 73-64. Bennet Cantu trailed by 15 points after 3 quarters before a 23-17 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 64-73 at the end of the game.
