Rather predictable result when second ranked Real Madrid (9-1) defeated at home 6th ranked Valencia Basket (6-4) 81-64. The game without a history. Real Madrid led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Real Madrid forced 20 Valencia Basket turnovers. 26 personal fouls committed by Valencia Basket helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a very good performance for international guard Rudy Fernandez (197-85) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. International power forward Felipe Reyes (203-80) contributed with 16 points and 8 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!) for the winners. Real Madrid's coach Pablo Laso allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Naturalized Brazilian power forward Tiago Splitter (211-85, agency: Interperformances) replied with 19 points and 9 rebounds and international guard Rafael Martinez (191-82) added 10 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Valencia Basket. Real Madrid have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with FCB Regal.
