Regular Season Round 9: Kiryat Tivon - Ironi Nahariya 74-81

The game between second ranked Kiryat Tivon (6-3) and fifth ranked Ironi Nahariya (5-3) was the most important one in the last round on Tuesday night. Kiryat Tivon was defeated by Ironi Nahariya in a tough game in Kiryat Tivon 74-81. The guests trailed by 7 points at the halftime before their 40-26 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for American swingman Marcus Ginyard (196-87, college: N.Carolina) who led his team to a victory with 29 points. Ironi Nahariya maintains fifth place with 5-3 record. Kiryat Tivon at the other side dropped to the third position with three games lost. They share it with Elitzur Yavne. Ironi Nahariya are looking forward to face Hod Hasharon (#9) at home in the next round. Kiryat Tivon will play against the league's leader Beer Yaakov (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
