Everything went according to plan in Hangzhou where third ranked Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (5-2) won against 5th ranked Liaoning Hunters (4-4) 103-98 on Tuesday. Liaoning Hunters trailed by 15 points after 3 quarters before a 36-26 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 98-103 at the end of the game. They outrebounded Liaoning Hunters 54-37 including a 40-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. 33 personal fouls committed by Liaoning Hunters helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American-Puerto Rican center Peter John Ramos (222-85) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 16 rebounds. American forward Wilson Chandler (203-87, college: De Paul) chipped in a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds. American forward Rodney Carney (201-84, college: Memphis) produced 27 points and 6 rebounds and guard Ming Yang (193-85) added 24 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) respectively for the guests. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Liaoning Hunters' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Despite that victory Zhejiang Guangsha Lions went down to fourth position due to points difference. Liaoning Hunters at the other side dropped to the sixth place with four games lost. They share the position with Fujian XX and DongGuan L.. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions are looking forward to face league's second-placed Guandong Tigers in Dongguan in the next round and it may be the game of the week.
