Undefeated leader Beijing Ducks delivered the eighth consecutive win on Wednesday night. This time they crushed 7th ranked Bayi Fubang (3-3) 110-75 in Ningbo. The game without a history. Beijing Ducks led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Bayi Fubang's 46 and made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Beijing Ducks forced 23 Bayi Fubang turnovers and had a 32-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. 24 personal fouls committed by Bayi Fubang helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was forward Zhe Ji (202-89) who scored 19 points and 8 rebounds. American power forward Randolph Morris (211-86, college: Kentucky) chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds. Five Beijing Ducks players scored in double figures. International center ZhongHao Xu (212-90) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and international forward Lehei De (208-87) added 18 points respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Beijing Ducks (8-0) have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 8 victories in a row. Bayi Fubang at the other side dropped to the ninth place with three games lost. They share the position with Shanxi Zh.. Beijing Ducks are looking forward to face Zhejiang Cyclones (#3) in Hangzhou in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Bayi Fubang will play at home against TianJin Rongcheng (#17) in Tianjin and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
