Korisliiga top team - Joensuun Kataja (14-3) managed to deliver another win on Wednesday. This time they beat fifth ranked Torpan Pojat (9-7) in Helsinki 72-62. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Torpan Pojat. The game without a history. Joensuun Kataja led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Joensuun Kataja dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Torpan Pojat's 26 and made 20-of-23 free shots (87.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Torpan Pojat 43-31 including a 36-20 advantage in defensive rebounds.
