Everything could happen in Jinjiang at the game between two tied teams. Both eleventh ranked Fujian SBS XunXin and 12th ranked Shandong Bulls had identical 3-4 record. This time Fujian SBS XunXin used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Jinan 112-105 on Wednesday night. Shandong Bulls trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 36-31 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 105-112 at the end of the game. Fujian SBS XunXin had a 29-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was Jordanian forward Zaid Abbas (203-83) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points, 17 rebounds and 6 assists. American center Will McDonald (211-79, college: S.Florida) chipped in a double-double by scoring 28 points and 13 rebounds. American swingman Alan Anderson (198-82, college: Michigan St., agency: Priority Sports) produced 39 points (!!!) and 6 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and the former international guard Ran Sui (193-92) added 15 points respectively for the guests. Four Fujian SBS XunXin and five Shandong Bulls players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fujian SBS XunXin have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Liaoning H. and DongGuan L. Shandong Bulls lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with five games lost. Fujian SBS XunXin is looking forward to face Foshan (#13) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Shandong Bulls will play against Xinjiang Flying Tige in Urumqi and are hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
