Fifth-ranked Santarcangelo (4-9) made lots of trouble for first ranked Trieste (9-4) in Sant'Arcangelo. The visitors from Trieste managed to secure only three-point victory 67-64. However their fans expected much easier game. The guests were ahead by 1 point but lost the second period ending it with a 5-point deficit before their 22-14 run, which allowed them to win the game.
