Bottom-ranked Energy Invest (0-8) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their eighth consecutive match to fifth ranked TSU (4-4) 103-81 on Friday evening. The game without a history. TSU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Energy Invest's 50 and made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. TSU forced 19 Energy Invest turnovers and outrebounded them 40-29 including 27 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Soso Shermadini (208-85) who scored 24 points and 4 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Guard Mikheil Chitashvili (193-84) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points, 5 rebounds and 12 assists. Five TSU players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Revaz Chachanidze (183-90) who recorded 25 points and guard Luka Khmelidze (195-92) added 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the third consecutive win for TSU. They maintain fifth place with 4-4 record, which they share with MIA Tbilisi. Energy Invest lost their eighth game in a row. They still closes the standings with eight games lost. They share the position with Batumi. TSU's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tbilisi to the arena MIA.
