Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eleventh ranked Grupo Iruna Navarra and 9th ranked Caceres 2016 had identical 6-6 record. But Caceres 2016 was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Pamplona 84-75. Caceres 2016 was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. It was a very good performance for guard Mikel Uriz (180-89) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 7 assists. Czech center Ondrej Starosta (215-79) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Grupo Iruna Navarra players scored in double figures. point guard Carlos Cherry (184-79) answered with 26 points (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!) and guard Pedro Robles (192-77) added 16 points in the effort for Caceres 2016. Caceres 2016's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Grupo Iruna Navarra (7-6) have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with La Palma and Palencia. Caceres 2016 at the other side keeps the ninth position with seven games lost. Grupo Iruna Navarra's next round opponent will be Baloncesto Leon (#13) at home and are hoping to win another game. Caceres 2016 will play against Leche Rio Breogan (#11) in Lugo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
