We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Jelenia Gora where fourteenth ranked MOSiR Krosno (2-10) defeated 13th ranked Sudety (2-11) 60-50. It looked good early as Sudety took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then MOSiR Krosno had a 15-9 second period charge getting the lead and Sudety was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 50-60. Guard Piotr Pluta (192-81, agency: Court Side) nailed 21 points for the winning side and forward Mariusz Piotrkowski (197-84) accounted for 11 points. Forward Pawel Minciel (203-88) came up with 12 points and 9 rebounds and guard Oskar Bukowiecki (187-91) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Sudety in the defeat. Four Sudety players scored in double figures. MOSiR Krosno moved-up to thirteenth place. Sudety lost seventh consecutive game. Sudety at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the fourteenth position with 11 games lost. MOSiR Krosno will play against higher ranked SKK Siedlce (#10) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sudety will play against Rosa Radom (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
