There was an upset when higher ranked Novum Lublin (5-6) was outplayed on the road by thirteenth ranked Pulaski Warka (2-9) 90-70 on Saturday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Pulaski Warka forced 25 Novum Lublin turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Pulaski Warka made 9 blocks. The best player for the winners was power forward Lukasz Nowak (202-84) who had a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds. Forward Daniel Wilkusz (203-88) chipped in 15 points and 9 rebounds. Pulaski Warka's coach Marek Brzeznicki used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Loser Novum Lublin keeps the eighth place with six games lost. Pulaski Warka will face higher ranked Staco MNLK (#10) in Niepolomice in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
