Regular Season Round 13: SKK Siedlce - Polonia 59-70

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 9th ranked SKK Siedlce (6-6) was defeated at home by tenth ranked Polonia (6-6) 70-59. The game was mostly controlled by Polonia. SKK Siedlce was better in second period 21-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Polonia brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. Guard Michal Musijowski (180-89) nailed 10 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists for the winning side and forward Artur Mikolajko (197-79) accounted for 15 points and 10 rebounds. Four Polonia players scored in double figures. Forward Lukasz Ratajczak (204-86, agency: Promotex) came up with 16 points and 9 rebounds and power forward Pawel Kowalczuk (207-80, college: St.Francis, NY, agency: Promotex) added 14 points and 4 steals respectively for SKK Siedlce in the defeat. Polonia moved-up to ninth place, which they share with defeated SKK Siedlce. Polonia will play against bottom-ranked Sportino (#15) in Inowroclaw in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. SKK Siedlce will play on the road against MOSiR Krosno (#13) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
