Regular Season Round 11: BG Lulea - Orongo 82-98

No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Orongo Dragons (5-6) won against on the road bottom-ranked BG Lulea (0-10) 98-82 on Saturday. Orongo Dragons made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 BG Lulea turnovers. It was a great evening for guard Kevin Olson (193-87, college: Brandeis) who led his team to a victory scoring 30 points and 7 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Power forward William Gutenius (205-92) helped adding 23 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Johan Stenberg (189-93) responded with 20 points and 5 rebounds and forward Robin Sandberg (194-93) scored 15 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Orongo Dragons have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain seventh place in North with 5-6 record. BG Lulea at the other side still closes the standings with ten games lost. Orongo Dragons will face league's leader White Eagles in Stockholm in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. BG Lulea will play against Eskilstuna (#11) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
