Very important is a road loss of third ranked MKS Limbach (7-4) against seventh ranked Tur Bielsk Pdl. (6-5) on Saturday night. Visiting MKS Limbach was defeated by Tur Bielsk Pdl. in Bielsk Podlaski 86-75. It looked good early as MKS Limbach took an 3-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Tur Bielsk Pdl. had a 17-11 second period charge getting the lead and MKS Limbach was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 75-86. Tur Bielsk Pdl. dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to MKS Limbach's 40 and made 20-of-25 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Tur Bielsk Pdl. forced 19 MKS Limbach turnovers and outrebounded them 48-31 including a 40-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Tur Bielsk Pdl. brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. The winners were led by forward Arkadiusz Zabielski (195-84) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds and forward Lukasz Kuczynski (194-85) supported him with 17 points and 9 rebounds. Four Tur Bielsk Pdl. players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds by forward Piotr Kwandrans (200-79) did not help to save the game for MKS Limbach. point guard Piotr Kindlik (166-84) added 18 points and 9 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tur Bielsk Pdl. moved-up to fifth place in Group C, which they share with Unia Tarnow. MKS Limbach at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. Tur Bielsk Pdl.'s next round opponent will be Rosa II Radom (#11) on the road where they are favorite.
