Regular Season Round 10: Oviedo CB - Lan Mobel ISB 78-66

There was a minor upset when 9th ranked Lan Mobel ISB (3-6) was defeated on the road by twelfth ranked Feve Oviedo (3-6) 78-66. The game was mostly controlled by Feve Oviedo. Lan Mobel ISB was better in third quarter 25-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Power forward David Ortega (199-84) notched a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds to lead the effort and American forward Bryan LeDuc (203, college: CS San Bernar.) supported him with 9 points and 8 rebounds. Even 16 points and 9 rebounds by Nigerian power forward Olasumbo Atoyebi (203-88, college: Elon) did not help to save the game for Lan Mobel ISB. American-French guard Alfredo Ott (193-83, college: Dillard) added 18 points for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Feve Oviedo moved-up to ninth place, which they share with defeated Lan Mobel ISB. Lan Mobel ISB lost third consecutive game. Feve Oviedo's next round opponent will be higher ranked Las Rozas (#8) on the road and it may be quite challenging game.
