Very predictable result when sixth ranked Lavrio (7-4) won against at home 14th ranked Periko/Arhelaos (4-7) 77-67 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 16-5 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Lavrio dominated on the defensive end, holding Periko/Arhelaos to just 5 points in fourth quarter. They also forced 22 Periko/Arhelaos turnovers. Forward Nikos Psileas (200-80) orchestrated the victory by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Forward Giannis Kakiouzis (205-78) contributed with 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Lavrio players scored in double figures.
