Helsingborg (#6) forced the game against Brahe Basket (#5) into an overtime, but lost by three points 78-81 on Saturday night. The game took place in Helsingborg. But the guests from Huskvarna were better at the end. Brahe Basket forced 21 Helsingborg turnovers. It was a great evening for Jamaican center Hugh Robinson (202-83) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Naturalized Nigerian forward Kevin Ukhagbe (198-85, college: Bethany, KS) helped adding 14 points and 11 rebounds. Four Brahe Basket players scored in double figures. Naturalized Bosnian forward Srdjan Vukovic (197-86) responded with 23 points and 7 rebounds and forward Rikard Flink (200-83) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Brahe Basket maintains fifth place in South with 8-4 record. Helsingborg at the other side keeps the sixth position with six games lost. Brahe Basket's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Huskvarna to the arena Sanda Basket.
