Regular Season Round 16: Eco Orebro - Boras 77-83

Very expected game when bottom-ranked Eco Orebro (0-16) was defeated at home by third ranked Boras Basket (11-5) 83-77 on Sunday. Eco Orebro was trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 28-18 charge of Boras Basket, which allowed them to win the game. They made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. Eco Orebro was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Michael Palm (208-79, college: W.Washington, agency: R.H.Consultancy) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 8 rebounds and Lebanese-American guard Omar Krayem (185-86, college: Cal.Baptist) who added 24 points during the contest. At the losing side American forward Demond Watt (200-89, college: Texas A&M-CC) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and Czech swingman Stefan Licartovsky (196-84) scored 20 points and 5 assists. Four Eco Orebro players scored in double figures. Boras Basket keeps a position of league leader. Eco Orebro at the other side still closes the standings. Boras Basket will face Solna Vikings (#7) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Eco Orebro will play against LF Basket in Lulea and hopes to get finally their first victory.
