Leader Trenkwalder RE delivered the eighth victory on Sunday night. This time they beat 8th ranked Assi Ostuni (4-6) 88-83. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 46-38 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Assi Ostuni was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Trenkwalder RE will face Fileni BPA (#13) in Jesi in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Assi Ostuni will play again at home against the league's leader Trenkwalder RE (#1) in Reggio Emilia.
