Regular Season Round 12: Inea AZS - CCC Polkowice 54-95

Bottom-ranked Inea AZS (0-12) is still winless. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 12th consecutive match to third ranked CCC Polkowice (10-2) 95-54 on Sunday evening. The game without a history. CCC Polkowice led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Inea AZS's 18. They outrebounded Inea AZS 47-17 including a 36-9 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American swingman Megan Frazee (191-87, college: Liberty) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 14 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). Russian guard Valeriya Musina (183-87, college: Lee) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. Four CCC Polkowice players scored in double figures. Coach Krzysztof Koziorowicz's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was Eliza Horodenska who recorded 23 points and center Joanna Kedzia (193-87) added 8 points respectively. CCC Polkowice moved-up to second place. Loser Inea AZS still closes the standings with 12 games lost. CCC Polkowice will meet at home league's leader Wisla Can-Pak in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Inea AZS will play against Lotos Gdynia (#3) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
