The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Nagoya: Toyota A. (#2) and Mitsubishi K. (#5). Mitsubishi K. was smashed at home by 17 points 65-82 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 82-65. They share the position with Chanson V-M. Toyota A. are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Aishin Wings (#8) in Anjo in the next round where they are favorite. Mitsubishi K. will play on the road against the league's leader JX Sunflowers in Kashiwa and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
