Regular Season Round 10: Hapoel T-A - Lev Hasharon 86-69

Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Lev Hasharon (4-6) was defeated on the road by second ranked Hapoel Tel-Aviv (8-2) 86-69. The game was mostly controlled by Hapoel Tel-Aviv. Lev Hasharon was better in fourth quarter 21-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Lev Hasharon 43-28 including 33 on the defensive glass. It was a very good performance for naturalized Swedish power forward Jonathan Skjoldebrand (204-83) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. The former international Matan Naor (195-80) contributed with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Hapoel Tel-Aviv players scored in double figures. Naturalized American power forward Isaac Rosefelt (205-85, college: St.Thomas, agency: Avi Zilberman) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds and American guard Lewis Clinch (191-87, college: Georgia Tech) added 18 points in the effort for Lev Hasharon. Hapoel Tel-Aviv maintains second position with 8-2 record behind leader Macc.B.Yaakov. Lev Hasharon at the other side keeps the tenth place with six games lost. Hapoel Tel-Aviv's next round opponent will be Ironi Ramat Gan (#12) on the road and are hoping to win another game. Lev Hasharon will play against Hapoel Kfar Saba.
